Second Saturdays

Shortly after Jean was elected, she began meeting with constituents on the second Saturday of each month at Mayflower Church. The time was always the same, 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., so people knew they always had an opportunity to talk about the issues on their minds and in the news. Jean has often remarked that she is glad to have the opportunity of "Second Saturdays" to hear constituent concerns and discuss them in depth.

Jean continues to meet with constituents at the regular time, date and place:

Second Saturday of every month
September through May
Mayflower Church
35W and Diamond Lake Road
9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Join them for a few minutes or the whole two hours.

Discussions always cover a wide range of state and local issues. Topics are chosen by those who participate. Jean often bring handouts to make issues like proposals to end a budget deficit easier to understand. As you can imagine, discussions are lively and engaging! Please come!
